02. Cutscene (PJ Wakes Up)

-Planet Zoorus, dusk- Futurist planet Zoorus is populated by a technologically advanced society that’s currently facing a worldwide resource-crisis. Everything is divided by two main continents with opposing ideologies about how to solve that crisis. One side is exploiting other planet’s resources and the other one is kidnapping and turning the opposing continent’s habitants into food. Meanwhile, a group of neutral scientists are looking for alternate ways to solve the issue. And so Purple Juice is created, an android created with AI and biotechnology that has the ability to learn and adapt to his environment. PJ wakes up as he sees the scientists that created him observing him and making sure he’s working properly. Suddenly, a military group attacks the facilities and shoots the two scientists. PJ’s powers activate out of anger and fear and shoots the soldiers back. Running through the many corridors and trying to avoid the rest of the soldiers, PJ manages to get into an escape pod that seems to have a fixed destination to another planet. On his way out of Zoorus PJ has a glimpse of the terrible conditions of his planet. Terrified he goes maximum speed and finally escapes.
